Jay Shipper

My current work is in the area of computer science, as a government contractor for High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTI).  My clients have included agencies such as the IRS and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).  I continue to work in the DC metro area, and as my honors thesis was on the topic of cyberwarfare, I still have high hopes of finding an opportunity that will let me utilize the skills from both of my majors.  While at Lehigh, I studied abroad in Strasbourg, France (with trips to Germany and Switzerland), and since graduation, I’ve taken a trip to London, England, and I cannot highly recommend enough going abroad if you have the chance.  It’s one thing to be told about other cultures; it’s quite another to be immersed in them yourself.
