Peter Green

After graduating from Lehigh, I began the Masters of Divinity program at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. In my second year I met my future wife - Megan Cook - who entered that year, also pursuing an M.Div. We were married a little more than a year later. In addition to convincing Megan to marry me, I worked as an intern at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, a TA for a professor, and had several other jobs. I also founded and was the Editor-in-Chief of the school's student publication - The Edwards Door. I will graduate in May of 2010 with the M.Div. and in the summer will begin a Ph.D. program at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL.  Megan will finish her M.Div. shortly after me. My Ph.D. will be in the area of Old Testament, focusing on vineyard imagery and intertextuality in the Hebrew Bible - a subject on which I have had the pleasure to present two papers at regional conferences for the Society of Biblical Literature.  After I get my Ph.D. we hope to go overseas to teach indigenous pastors who do not have access to normal methods of education.
