I am currently a research associate at the Public International Law and Policy Group (PILPG), a pro bono law firm that focuses on peace negotiations, transitional justice, and post-conflict constitution drafting. PILPG is working all around the world, including in the Syrian peace process, but my work is currently focused mostly on Sudan. I am also in law school at American University Washington College of Law where my focus is on international human rights, international environmental/freshwater law, and LGBT rights.
