Study Abroad Experience:
For the 2018/2019 school year I was fortunate to be able to study in Paris, France. Language immersion was my main goal in studying abroad so all my classes were in French, and I was able to take several classes right alongside other french university students at the Sorbonne, a world renowned institution right in the heart of Paris. These courses included subjects like political philosophy, contemporary European history, and studying the European Union. I also travelled within France to places like Normandy, site of the famous D-Day landings, and Bordeaux, a region in the southwest of France known for its wine production. Spending a year in Paris really allowed me to explore and immerse myself in the rich history and culture that the city had to offer.
