The Department of International Relations at Lehigh University invites submissions for the Textor Book Manuscript Workshop, which helps scholars strengthen book manuscripts prior to submission for publication. The workshop is fully funded and covers the applicant's travel expenses to Lehigh University as well as travel expenses for up to three external discussants. Past workshop participants have gone on to publish with Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press. Scholars with a nearly complete book manuscript in international security, international institutions, or international political economy are eligible to apply.
To receive full consideration, applicants should submit the following materials via email to Edann Brady (emb703@lehigh.edu) by January 4, 2027:
- 1-page cover letter indicating the expected timeline to completion, target press or series, possible external discussants, and why this workshop would help at this stage
- Table of contents for the full manuscript (with abstracts for each chapter)
- 1-2 completed chapters
- CV and contact information for one reference
